not able to download

all of a sudden i'm not able to download anything with
internet explorer. can some one help or have any idea why.

I think i am having the same problem
When I select to download something, IE doesn't respond and I have to close the window.

Same problem here. Already tried the fix where you delete temp internet
files and history, and the delete index.dat fix, and I don't have the ".exe"
key in my
registry to delete as per yet another fix.

When I try to download, I see a picture of pages
flying across from left to right, but the file never
finishes downloading. I upgraded from IE5 to IE6,
with no effect.

newsgroup so i'm going to keep looking for previous

Tried installing Mozilla tonight. Same problem, downloader
just hangs, even from Mozilla's own site.

I'm having the same problem, but not just with IE, I can't download anything from the internet with I E or Netscape. Whats up with this?
