For convenience of copying from one computer to another, I store all my work files in one folder
"All Data Files". Included in "All Data Files" folder is also the "Favorites" folder. I have
normally been able to delete all folders in "All Data Files" using Windows Explorer, but after
installing XP SP2 upgrade I get the message that "Favorites is a Windows system folder and is
required for Windows to run properly. It cannot be deleted". Is it any way I can avoid the message
and be able to delete the "Favorites" folder?

I appreciate any help I can get with this,
Anders

Favorites is considered a system file and Windows XP will not permit it to
be move/renamed. Maybe by downloading and installing the TweakUI module of
the "Powertoys for XP" you may be able to re-locate the directory.

I have already used TweakUI module when I moved the "Favorites" folder from C:\Documents and
Settings\Anders\ to C:\All Data Files\. Any other suggestions?

You can delete it using 'DOS' delete if you boot via the menu to Safe
Mode - Command Prompt, so Windows itself has not loaded to start using
it
