Not able to delete file from recycled bin

Guest

I have a folder named "Adobe, At Home, Breakfast,". This has invalid
characters and normally windows does not allow to create such names. But
somehow I do not know why this happened. This was also deleted and is now
lying in the recycle bin. Now from recycle bin, I am neither able to restore
it nor delete it. It is a pretty bulky folder so consuming a lot of space.
Anyone has any clues how to delete this.

you can try deleting the recycle bin folder. winxp will recreate the folder
later.

boot your computer into safe mode.
open windows explorer and make sure that the protected operating system
files are shown (on windows explorer, click tools > folder options > view
tab > uncheck hide protected operating system files)
open your C drive using windows explorer.
delete the recycler folder (right click on the folder and then, while
holding the shift button, click on delete. this will instantly delete the
folder so you need to be extra careful here. clicking on delete without
holding the shift key will make windows put the recycle bin inside the
recycle bin folder which will not work.)
reboot.

you will still see the recycle bin on your desktop if you have this enabled.
the recycler folder will be recreated when you first delete any file or
folder.

and by the way, don't forget to hide once more the protected operating
system files after doing all these.

hope this works.
