Hi

I have XP professional machine. I have enabled RDP on this machine. when i
try to connect to this from other after entering login details monitor
becomes blank(no display) and no HDD activity machine to access i have to
restart the machine. I checked in event viewer it shows "error with event id
1006. source terminal service with the description terminal service recieved
large number of incomplete connections. The system may be under attack".
Tried by installing service pack 2 still probem persists. I can connect to
other machines from this machine without a problem.Tried in Microsoft KB no
solution please check if someone had faced same problem/You have solution

Hi,

Have you tried disabling the firewall on the target machine? (this assuming
you are behind a router or other safeguard)

Hi,

Is any user on that machine currently logged on when you try to access it?
Or are all profiles logged off? Try leaving the target user account logged
on, sometimes this helps.
