Everytime I restart i get a bubble on taskbar telling me my AntiVirus is
turned off. I have set it tostart with startup but ???????

Does it start up after a while or do you have to manually start it..? I
get this sometimes if the taskbar scanner looks for it before it's started
but the bubble goes away once the AV program actually gets running.

(No anti-Norton rants please, I've used it since the DOS versions and
never had a problem, it works fine for me).

Is your anti-virus program compatible with Service Pack 2?

In any case, this is a question for your anti-virus program's technical
support.

What version of Norton is it? Some older versions are not fully
supported on XP+SP2.

What version are you using?.. if it is not 2006, uninstall it and go to
