Norton tool bar not available.

Hello all, my friend just purchased a desktop and installed Norton 360 on it,
however the norton tool bar (Fraud monitoring) doesn't appear on the browser
and when trying to select it in the toolbars it is grey and not available for
selection. Anyone knows why? He has Vista though.

Personally - if I *just* bought something - I make those I bought it from
earn their keep or take back the item.

However - you did say your friend "... installed Norton 360 ..." --> which
implies it did not come with the system (*sigh* - weight it down as soon as
they get it...) --> however - that means they 'just purchased' Norton 360 as
well. Contact Symantec, look through their FAQs, etc?

In other words - if the only problem seems to be with the Norton 360
software - I would go to the makers of the software that seems to have the
only problem.

You'll probably get better results through those means than asking about
Norton 360 installation on a Windows Vista machine in a Windows XP Security
Administration newsgroup. ;-)
