Norton Scans on a dual-booting XP/Vista System

Hi, I've got XP and Vista installed on seperate partitions on my computer,
each with a copy of norton on. The problem is, If I want to get rid of the
symbol that says something needs fixing such as a virus scan then I have to
run the virus scan over both partitions which takes a fair amount of time on
2x 320GB RAID 0 Hard Drives.

I would like to make it so that Norton on Vista only sees the vista
partition and Norton on XP only sees the XP partition. If someone could tell
me how to sort this out it would be much appreciated.
