norton protected recyclebin

i reinstalled norton avi and now i do not have a
protected recycle bin any one have any ideas on what
happened thanks ald man bill i am 75 and am not a
computer wizard please help

Norton's AV doesn't have that feature, you need Norton's System Works (NSW).
Was the AV (Anti Virus) part of the package of NSW (Norton's System Works)?
