Norton Protected files

Aloha all. I am using Norton System Tools 2007...recently installed. I have
disabled the protected recycle bins on all drive and prefer just the
standard recycle bins. However, when I r-click on the recycle bin I get an
option to Purge All Norton Protected files (there are 189). I click that,
but when I repeat the process, I am still told there are 189 protected files
on drive c:. I have tried re-enabling Norton Protection on the drive, but
still there are 189 files.
How do I get rid of those 189 files?
Many thanks!

Our condolences.

Uninstall Norton.

Cut your loss and re-gain your sanity. You deserve more than the garbage
Symantec puts out.

Best to contact Symantec tech support for help with their program.
Personally I recommend against using any of the Norton home products.
