Norton Protected Recycle BIN. How to TURN OFF ?

Ive done a reinstall and iam going to reinstall Norton System works
2004. The last time i told it to turn it off it never did. It allways
had d:\ drive slected as a Norton Protected drive.

No matter what i did to turn the whole crap off. Can you help me out
when i reinstall it again. So i can turn this off its just anoying,
the Feature and the problem.

Um its running on windows. Thus the question to windows users who
would be probably be using it ?

It is a windows xp program

Try:

right click on the Recycle Bin
left click on Property
choose "Norton protection"
in the "Drive setting" choose the drive you want to unprotect
uncheck the "enable protection" box.

Ok JACK. i Disabled it for each drive. And i made my recycle bin
standard. For some reason it never sticked before. I guess i can just
tell it to purge everyday, that would be better than nothing


Though i just did a full reinstall, so maybe that will fix it.
