Norton Internet Security

I have set up user accounts in Win XP for my family. I
have Norton Internet Security (NIS) installed on my
machine. On my son's user account, the NIS tray icon
flashes with a red exclamation point which normally
indicates an intrusion. When I open NIS on his account,
though, everything is fine - no intrusion. It does not
do this on any of the other user accounts I have created.
Any ideas? I contacted NIS support but they said it had
something to do with restrictive permissions in XP from
an administrator account??????
Thanks for any input!!

David - I know whenever I see an exclamation point in the
tray Norton has caught it or stopped the virus from
entering your computer. Right-click it next time and get
more details. Norton will "track the end point where the
virus / trogan horses came from. Interesting. Then you
can get even more delains when you click more details on
the visual track web page... just with a right-click!
Hope that helps. PS make sure your firewall is on in
Norton too. Very important. Kids can drag in the
dirtiest bugs whenever they use the computer! Watch him
carefully! I've been there, done it. :) Meg
