Norton Internet Security and Network Woes

After being instructed by Symantec that I must uninstall
NIS to enable proper Live Update, and completing process
per their instructions, I can no longer connect to
internet or other PC's on my home network (Linksys
BEFSR41 cable router, running windows XP home). Other
pcs can see each other and connect to internet. Router
shows good connection. About ready to run over the think
with car. HELP!
 
Sounds like you need to do some Norton Internet Security tuning. Open
Norton and click on Personal Firewall. Select configure. Select
Networking. Enter your IP address range as Trusted. Hope this helps.
