Norton Ghost

Hi ive just got norton ghost 2003 from my friend and i dont know how to use
it. Can anyone give me a detailed process on how to image my hd. So far i
put the cd in rebooted it went into dos. then after 10 sec it leaves me at
a:\ i dont really know where to go from there i try going to d:\ and type
ghost.exe but dont work. PLZ help thank you

Coincidentally I just posted an article in this newsgroup that has the
subject "Re: Norton Ghost Support refuses to assist." that contains some
step-by-step instructions for using Ghost 2003. You may want to take a look
at it.

When you get to the A:/ , try typing GHOST and press enter. If that doesn't
work, try typing,
D:/GHOST
 
The Norton CD will function as an "emergency" start-up disc when the
computer is set to boot from the CD drive.
Do not put CD in drive until after computer has booted into XP - Ghost must
be installed. Other thing to consider - is the CD strictly Ghost or a
Norton's System CD? - makes a difference.

Last but not least - check Mike's response.!!!
 
I made my point as the OP failed to say whether the CD was the Ghost
Installation media, or something procured from Ghost..
