Norton Antivirus Professional 2004 giving error message and slowing down system.

Every time I start my system after installing the new
Norton Antivirus 2004 Professional, I get an erro message
saying "Run.dll Specified Module Could Not Be Found.
Error Loading 2ndsrch.dll" How do I fix this? I can't
find anything on it, and my system is incredibly slow now.
Anything would help.

Jon,

"2ndsrch.dll" is infact a component of quite a few Adware program's. My
guess it that, when you installed Norton Anti Virus you did the usual Scan
before install, which found the Spyware and removed it or partially removed
it leaving this file left over or reference to the file. Hence why you get
the error, to fix it could be a problem depending on where in the registry
the dll is reference. Firstly you could download and run either Ad-Aware of
SpyBot. Do a check for any specific spyware, Ad-Aware does a great Deep
Scan on the regstiry, if the key is there, it should find it. Give this a
go and see if it sorts your problem out. you can get adaware from:
