Norton Anti Virus

I cannot install Norton Anti virus. I hace the Cd and could not install, so I bought Norton Internet Security online and tried to download. It does the same as my Cd. It installs, then will not stay on the screen long enough for me to complete. Any suggestions?

Run an online virus scan you may already have one.Also I believe that you can run a scan from Norton's disk without installing it.
