norton anti virus

I'm trying to uninstall norton anti virus,I get this
message error 1316 a network error occourred while
attempting to read from the file. D:/windows/
instatller/ nsw.msi I all ready tryed to
reinstall it so I can try to uninstall and it will not
reinstall. Can anyone help me? Please Thanks

If you go to Symantec's website, I believe they have a tool to remove all
traces of Norton from your system.

ONe can try deleting all files in your windows temp folder. Then try
what you've been trying.
