norton 2001will not uninstall

I just upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP pro.
I had Norton Systemworks 2001 on the computer which is
incompatible. I have tried to uninstall it.
Neither the Norton CD nor the remove/change option on the
start menu can uninstall Norton 2001 now that windows xp
is on teh computer.
Any suggestions?

Symantec has uninstallers for their programs which you can download from
their site. Go there and find the right one for your program. If that
doesn't work, contact Symantec tech support.
