normal template error

I'm having problems opening word documents that are through email. It keeps
wanting to save them as my normal template and i'm afraid someone in the
family has messed something up. Is there somewhere I can redownload the
normal template for free?

Don't even try to open an email attachment directly. Save it to your HD
first, then open it from within Word.

Delete or rename the normal template (normal.dot) and Word will build a new
default template.
Always save e-mail attachments to the hard drive before opening them in
Word.
