normal.dot constantly saved

Everytime I exit WORD it seems to save normal.dot. When I reopen WORD the
last viewed document is NORMAL.DOT. This only starteda few weeks ago....
What causes this andhow do I fix?

If you're using Norton AntiVirus, disable its Office Plug-in. That is one of
the most common causes of this problem, though there are other add-ins that
have the same effect.
