Non-stop message importing on restart of Windows mail

Every time I open up Windows Mail it is still trying to import message
store from my original setup (transferring from another computer),
under a folder : Recovered Messages with various recovery dates
Even when I completely delete these Directories, the process starts
again the next time I restart the program.
I thought I would let it run it's course and I have left my system on
for over a week but it just stops after creating a few directories but
starts up again as soon as I restart the program.
McAfee and Norton Antivirus do not detect any malware.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Arawak

Does it help to delete all the .dbx files it's trying to import from?

Wow, you are running both McAfee and Norton antivirus?
That's asking for double trouble!
