No Windows Explorer and Quick Launch

I just installed XP with Service Pack 2.
However, I found there are no Windows Explorer (not in Accessories or other
program groups), also Control Panel -> Appearences and Themes ->Task bar and
Start menu
Although I check the Show Quick Launch and then OK, however, I cannot drag
and drop shortcut to the task bar.

If I go back to the Task bar and Start menu, it is unchecked.

I guess may be because during the installation, there are problems in
reading files from the CD, I skipped one file that is Migrate.exe, I don't
know if they are related problem.

Also when I select Help and Support, a pop up box says "Helpctr.exe cannot
be found."

Installation problems such as you describe are usually caused by either
1) bad cd-rom; 2) bad hardware.

You should reinstall Windows cleanly after troubleshooting the above two
reasons. Here are some general hardware troubleshooting steps:

Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts
with known-good parts. If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are
uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigStoreUSA).

That's the genuine one.
(snippage)

It doesn't matter if the cd is "the genuine one" or not. Although that
rules out the possibility of a bad burn from a copy, it does not rule
out a scratched or dirty cd, a bad cd drive, or other failing hardware
such as the hard drive or RAM.

Troubleshoot accordingly.
