No welcome screen

Can anyone help, after startup our machine goes straight to an administrators screen without displaying the welcome screen. If you log off, you then get the welcome screen and user names. Any ideas how to stop this happening

disable autologin.

go here to remove it in registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
or you can hold down shift key before it log you in

Open control panel->User Accounts. Click on "Change the Way users log on or off" and put a check mark on "Use Welcome Screen"

Click on Okay. and close the User account screen and the control panel as well

Try to restart and see

Go to the registry here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

and find this key - AutoAdminLogon , and change the value from 0 to 1, then when you boot you will get directly to the desktop.
