Turn Welcome Screen back on

I got a new computer, and my kids got my old one. The old one has Windows XP
Pro.

I have set up user accounts for them, but I cannot get Windows to boot to
the Welcome Screen. It just goes to to my desktop (Administrator). How can
I have Windows XP Pro boot to the Welcome Screen again?

Control Panel -> User Accounts
Change the way that users log on and off

Is that "kids" as in plural for more than one kid? Or did you mean
"kid's" as in possessive for a singular kid?

If the computer is truly their property now, let them configure the
accounts however they want. Remove the passwords or tell them what they
are, even for the Administrator account. If instead the computer still
remains your property and you are just letting them use it (so you can
mandate how they use it and where they connect), configure EVERY account
to have a password and keep secret the password for the Administrator
account. Each of their accounts should be a non-admin (limited)
account. That means they'll be coming to you when they want to install
software (because you're the admin). If any of them has an admin-level
account, forget about it being your property or under your control.
