No web pages will load

After succesfully connecting to my ISP, explorer 6 will
not load any web pages.

This has occured before after I purchased the machine
recently and after reinstalling the windows xp it was OK.
It has happened again and I dont want to have to
reinstall xp every couple weeks. What is the problem here?
