No Video

I installed Norton Internet Security and now the system
starts in normal or safe mode and you can see the quick
start toolbar for about a second and then the screen goes
a solid blue. You can hit ctrl,alt & delete and get the
task manager and that is about it. How do I recover from
this with no restore disk or saved profile?
