No valid Windows installer for Dawn of War

I am trying to install Dawn of War but I keep getting the error message "This
installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists adn
that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this
is a valid Windows installer package."

I have installed other games without a problem. I have attempted to lookup
this problem on my own and I find lots of interesting, techincal facts but
nothing to solve the problem.

Any suggestions?
