A friend of mine has a problem which prevents him from
booting into windows. A login screen appears but no user
names are shown to be selected. Only a shut down computer
button.
Ctrl+Alt+Del, twice, brings up a username and password
box but a name and password were never used and so no
help there.
I have tried to boot into safemode and last know good
config but exactly the same screen appears.
He tells me that he remembers a msgbox telling him that
somthing along the lines of ".. was repaired sucessfully"
appeared at startup on the previous boot.
Any suggestions or links would be appreaciated.
