No user account at startup

We just moved our 2 computers to broadband. I set up a new admin account and
changed the normal users to limited. I had an error with MS Office Small
Business Outlook OEM that came on the new Dell after I installed McAfee
Managed VirusScan and AntiSpyware. It only errored in the limited account. I
went and set the limited account back to admin and when I attempted to log
back on both accounts said they were blocked. I restarted and just the admin
account appeared and said it was blocked. I restarted again and Admin came up
and would not let me log on. I turned the computer off and now no users come
up to even try to enter a password.

Oh I hope I don't have to reinstall.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Could be a problem caused by McAfee. Try booting into safe mode by
restarting the computer, then tapping the F8 key repeatedly until you
get the advanced options menu and choose safe mode. Then login to the
built in "Administrator" account. If it's XP home the password is
blank. For Pro enter the password for the account. Once logged in try
to uninstall McAfee.

It would not even let me boot into Safe Mode. I had set Account Lockout
Policy to 3 and must have given it the wrong password 3 times so it locked me
out for 30 minutes. It was quite a sinking feeling but a lesson I'll not
forget.

Thanks for the help and tips.
