No "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)" option under Folder Opt

I need to be able to set permissions for some folders, yet am unable to do so
under XP SP2.

Under My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Advanced Settings:
There is no option to de-select "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)"

I use WinXP Home with SP2 installed, using the NTFS file system.
I am also admin to this machine.

What have I missed?

Thanks,

Hi

Here is my standard post on how to access the Security tab:

How to access the Security tab:

For Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, you must start the computer in
safe mode, and then log on with an account that has Administrative
rights to have access to the Security tab.

For Windows XP Professional, the instructions here can be
followed:

I thought that you had no option but to use simple file sharing on XP Home,
ie, you can't disable it.

You can disable file sharing completely, but you can't disable simple file
sharing and enable classic(?) file sharing.
