Windows XP Home edition File/folder security

I am trying to set folder permissions/password protect a folder on a slave
drive....Windows XP Home edition does not give me the option in folder
properties. I have searched microsoft for the answer and all the articles
state to disable simple file sharing in the folder options tab...I do not
have that option. I do not have the tab to enable/disable simple file
sharing. I am not on a domain, I am on a home network, my file system is
NTFS....any Ideas??

The option to disable Simple File Sharing applies to Windows XP Pro since
Simple File Sharing is hard wired in Windows XP Home.
For Windows XP Home, you need to go to Safe Mode:
