No 'Unblock' button for zip file

I need to extract files held in a ZIP archive. Because it contains exe files
SP2 wont allow it. The 'help' suggests right clicking the file and ticking
the 'unblock' button for the file (presumably the individual files within the
ZIP) but as I cant see the content of the ZIP - no unblock button. Please
help - I have sentimental docs locked up here.

The problem as described is what happens when I double click the ZIP file. I
get the usual options of selecting where to unzip to then SP2 blocks me.

Hi,

Try to use another UnZIP program than the one that comes builtin with
WinXP.

Some free zip/unzip programs:

ZipGenius (freeware)
http://www.zipgenius.it/

PowerArchiver has a command line version as well:

Last freeware version of PowerArchiver:
