No Turn-off screen

When I click on "Turn Off Computer" from Start, the sand clock hangs on the
screen and windows also hangs up forever without bringing the "Stand By -
Turn Off - Restart" screen at all. Did you live such an experience before to
help me out please?

ps. it was all okay before I install the SP2. Any clue?
