no system tray icon

I have Microsoft AntiSpyware on all five of my networked
systems. On each of them there is an icon for AntiSpyware
in my system tray except for my main computer.

I have tried everything I can think of but cannot get the
icon to show so I worry I have no real-time protection.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Try Start -> Log Off. Then Log On again.

If the icon now re-appears, you have encountered a long-standing bug in XP
whose symptom is that some icons do not appear in the Notification Area when
they are configured to do so.

There is no known workaround other than Loging Off and On again.
Unfortunately, the next time you restart, the chances are that the icon(s)
will disappear again. This is an XP problem and nothing to do with
Microsoft AntiSpyware.
