MS Antispyware wont start up the real-time protection when I start up PC

When I turned on my PC the MS antispyware used to start real-time protection and the icon would be in my system tray. Now 2 days ago it stopped appearing and running the protection. I cant find any option in the spyware option window to start this protection, I can only do scans etc.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled but when I go to turn pc on again later it has gone again. The option to show the icon in the system tray is on too.

please can someone tell me what I should do. Thanks
