I use IE6 and i'm not getting any audio from web pages. I have sound from
every thing else, media player, cdplayer, games, ect. This problem occured
right after installing Windows Service Pack 2. I've updated my drivers and
made sure all the internet explorer multimedia settings were set correctly.
Also my volume control, the mixer device, has dissappeared its no where to be
found. Does anyone know whats going on here?

Sadly this did not help at all. But i did enjoy the large source of registry
fixes that can be found in that link i thank u much for that, and i highly
suggest this link to anyone who stumples upon this. But my internet sound
problem still exsists some one please help!!

If you are actually missing the sndvol32.exe file, or sndrec32.exe,

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type:

SFC /SCANNOW

Thanx man, i was missing the sndvol32.exe file. After repairing it i was able
to get the sound going again.
