no sound recorded

i seem to have a very common problem wehich is while recording from my vcr thru my dazzle dvc80 to movie maker 2 i get no sound. help....
 
Yes, a number of people find that they need to connect the audio line into
their sound card rather than the Dazzle 80. The good thing is that they
report success when doing it that way.
