no sound device

help, i am very new to this site with limited computer knowledge. will try
to explain my problem. i have lost all sound . can not play music that came
with my original software,from radio or prerecorded disc when inserted. in
windows media player i get an error message OxCOOD11BA: cannot play file. I
have an E-Machine computer Microsoft windows XP and just reinstalled MSN 9
software hoping that would solve my problem, it did not. I know there is
something I have done to cause this problem. Anyone, please help. tks

Hi i'm having the same problem if u go to e-machines web site and try to
download the audio driver that should help fix it .
