No rich text editor too bar

Hello, I have windows Xp. When I go to write an e-mail using Hotmail the rich text editor no longer loads. I have not switched it off or anything. Therefore I cant choose font size, colour etc and cant write an e-mail! Any ideas please?

When you start a message click on format and you should see plain text or
rich text. Click the one you want.
