Since 2 weeks ago I haven´t recived any "Norton", "New e-
mial" or "windows update" notifications, even when I
disabled the "hide inative icons" option. For example
when a new e-mail arrive it doesn´t apear any
notification, or when the PC start up the norton icon
apear just 2 seconds and suddanly disapear.

Please help me.

You may not have any updates from your anti-virus program or from Windows
during a 2-week period. It is not uncommon. Do you know if you're missing
e-mails? Have you tried right-clicking the icons you're concerned about and
opening "updates" or "security center," to confirm you're enabled/active?
Unsure about your e-mails since I don't know who your e-mail provider is.
Could it be Outlook Express?

It is certainly not uncommon to go two weeks without Windows
update. But it is *extremely* rare (if it ever happens at all) to
go two weeks without Norton Anti-Virus updates. Norton has
updates every Wednesday, and often on other days too.

I may be able to help you with the new email icon.
You have to go to control panel.....appearance and themes..... then TaskBar and Start Menu....
On the Task Bar Tab on the bottom there is a notification area...click on customize..
There you will see a list of icons you can have Hidden or Show...The email tab if you want it to show when you get email should say Always show for it to show when there is email.
You may be getting these services but the icon is not showing. Make sure they all say hide when in active , they should pop up when they are in use.

Hope this helps.
As far as Norton...make sure your subscription for Live Updates is current. the only give you a year then you have to renew.
