No pictures on websites

I recently installed Windows and Office XP and I'm having
this problem where I can't see any of the pictures when I
open up an Internet Explorer page. All the text appears
fine, but where there is supposed to be a picture or
graphic, it's just blank. Anyone know how to fix this?

Does this happen with *every* picture or graphic, or just with ads? Do you
happen to have Norton Personal Firewall or a similar product, with
ad-blocking activated, installed?

Go to macromedia.com,get the flash player and shockwave
download.They enhance web view,microsoft usually adds
some version to windows.
