No phone number in modem log

I have E1 in my model settings, but the modem log still doesn't show
the number.

What gives?

Nothing to do with XP, but I'd say you need to put the Command Echo
setting in the init string or write it to the NVRAM, are all the other
commands echoed to your log file?

It's is working.

Not all ATDT statements in the modem log related to the number being
dialed.

ATDT is ATtention Dial Tone, you only have one of those per call.

Since E1 specifies that they be echoed , are all the commands sent to
the modem echoed to the log file?
