I have a very large document with over 40 section breaks. How do I get Word
not to show page 1 of a section break, i.e. the first page of a chapter.
Appreciate your help.

What version of word are you using?

If you're using Office 2003, you need to open your header or footer
(whichever one contains the page number). In the Header and Footer toolbar
that should open, click on the "Page Setup" icon (it looks like an open
book). A window should open. Click on the "Layout" tab and select "Different
first page." Then delete the page number from the first page header.

Unless you can use the "Link to Previous" function, you will need to do this
in every section of the document.

I hope this helps.
