No operating system

PC running xp home. When i leave my pc on and don't use it for a couple hours
it occasionally reverts to a blank screen stating that "no operating system
was found" and must be restarted to get rid of the condition. On restart it
states this "the TmProxy module experienced a critical error. Please
reinstall the program: internal error:[-5/PHO/ENY0000000l]

ANY IDEAS?

TmProxy sounds like it belongs to Trend Micro, and indeed it does:

"The message The TmProxy module experienced a critical error. .....internal error: -9 (PH=0, ENG=00000008) appears when Privacy Data Protection is enabled in Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2004"

I believe your solution is like the message says: "Please reinstall the program."
