No new email indicator for second email accont in Outlook 2007

Hi,

I am using outlook 2007 to manage 2 email accounts. Used outlook 2003 until
recently and never had a problem with this.

When a new email arrives in account 1, the new message indicator shows up in
the taskbar as it is supposed to be.

If a new message arrives in account 2, nothing happens, and I have missed
replying in time to plenty of emails already.

It is just not feasible to check in by fully opening (meaning switching to)
Outlook every five minutes.

Any ideas?

You don't mention what type of accounts you are working with, but perhaps a
rule for account 2 that shows you a dialog box when a new message arrives
would work for you.
