No msconfig in win2000?

Putting it in any sub-directory found in the path will work.

typing "path" at the comand prompt will show what there is.

Didn't Sherlock Holmes have an answer for this one? Something about
"whatever remains must be the answer, no matter how improbable?"

Perform a search for msconfig on a Windows 98, or XP machine, and copy the executable to your Windows 2000 %systemroot%\system32 folder. There's also an msconfig.chm (w/ XP at least) that you should put in %systemroot%\help.

Hello group
I recently upgraded to windows2000 from windows98se. I wish I'd done this
long time ago. I love it! I've been using it for about a week now and
haven't had it crash once!

One question, though...How do I access and choose which programs I want t
start at boot-up, like I used to do in win98 by running msconfig

Thanks
Brigitt

That's why the XP one is better.

Hello!! You can copy msconfig from a computer with win98 and then put
into c:\winnt in win2K. But, only function start at boot-up will be avaible.
