Don't attempt to run MS-DOS applications on alien platforms. You
wouldn't consider running a Mac or VMS application on a Windows NT
platform, would you? So what makes you think that you can run a MS-DOS
application there?

Install MS-DOS on a PC to run MS-DOS applications; note that some
versions of MS-DOS come with an optional GUI, like Windows 4.x.

If you want to increase the machine's utility, install a second OS, e.g.
NT5.x; in that case you get a dual-boot selection.
