how to install window 2000 using ms-dos prompt

Dear Microsoft.
Please kindly give detail information how to install
window 2000 using MS-DOS command Prompt. Iwant you to give
the the command.

Another question is that can install damaged window file
through copy and paste,e.g, kodakimg.exe.

MS does not usually participate in this group directly.

What do you mean? W2K installation can be started from a "DOS prompt"
(winnt.exe) but the recommended way is to boot the installation CD.
There is no completely character-mode installation of this OS possible.
Another question is that can install damaged window file
through copy and paste,e.g, kodakimg.exe.

Many windows files can only be "repaired"/replaced by _installing_ and
not by copying a single file. You can try kodak.inf perhaps, but I
cannot confirm that installing this way will "repair" anything. I do
not use the Kodak imaging feature.

If you had to start the installation from a DOS boot floppy
you would use the WinNT.exe command.

This floppy needs network software so that you can logon and
use a drive from a network server with the Win2000 I368 files.

If you locate the I368 directory on the CD-ROM and type:

winnt /?

....help will be displayed for switches and options.
