Hi,
I have a client that is complaining about the mouse not clicking on links
etc. in one part of the screen. Here is what I have already looked at:
1) It's not relating to a wireless mouse battery/signal problem, as they are
using a wired mouse.
2) It's not relating to some type of Vista Sidebar gadget stacked above the
window as they are not running sidebar. (I am fairly certain you can't run a
gadget without the sidebar task runnung, if you can it still could be a
gadget...)
3) The client has one application open at a time, like myob or ie7 and it's
the same part of the screen all the time.
4) if they restore the window size and drag the window so that the
link/button they want to click is outside of this area the link/button works
fine.
5)Going by fairly intimate past knowledge of the customer it is highly
unlikely they have a virus or spyware. Their security software is always
current and up to date. and I get a phone call if anything happens that they
are unsure of (fun hey...)
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to diagnose what the problem stems
from? or possible causes of this problem?
Thanks Lee.
