gadgets not showing in Windows Vista Sidebar

Hello boys and girls,

I visited and studied
http://microsoftgadgets.com/Sidebar/DevelopmentOverview.aspx and after this I
successfully wrote my first 2 simple gadgets (easy gadgets with simple HTML
code) which are running as expected in Windows Vista Sidebar.
Then I tried a bit more complicated things. They run nice in Windows Vista
IE7 and they appear bravely in the “Add Gadgets†dialog.
But they won’t show in the Windows Vista Sidebar regardless what I try (a
lot!).

Is there anything missing fundamentally in how to bring a small HTML page
with JavaScript to the Vista Sidebar not mentioned in the link above?

Best regards, pinboard

Your best bet is trying the Windows Gadgets forums as they're specialists at
these. I've tried a few gadgets myself - but it could be a bad version of
the Sidebar. Try another Sidebar, and see if that helps )
