no mail on server

when i open my mail in windows mail everything is fine, but if i go later to
my server the mail has been deleted. i want to be able to access my mail on
the sever if i am not on my home computer..how do i keep windows mail from
deleteing my mail on my sever site?
 
For a POP3 account, you can leave the messages on the server.
Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced
[x] Leave a copy of messages on server
[x] Remove from server after [xx] days
